For accredited agents
The Ownify Agent Commission Plan
The “Two plus Ten” — built to reward agents who win the best terms for their buyers.
At Ownify, we value the work that our accredited partner agents do — for our Ownis and Ownify.
Especially in light of the recent NAR lawsuit that has created more uncertainty around buyer's agent compensation, we want to ensure that our loyal accredited partner agents are rewarded for their efforts. At the same time, we firmly believe that agent compensation needs to be aligned with helping our customers win their home at the best possible terms.
To ensure attractive compensation to our partner agents that is aligned with our Ownis' objectives, our commission plan to buyer agents representing Ownify consists of three components.
Three components
Base, buyer benefit, and volume bonus.
Compensation that aligns your incentives with the buyer's outcome.
Base commission
Ownify will pay you a base commission of 2.00% of the purchase price.
Buyer benefit commission
In addition to the base commission, Ownify will pay you 10% of the buyer benefit negotiated by you on behalf of the buyer. Buyer benefit is the difference between list price and the initial executed purchase price including negotiated price reductions and seller-paid credits. Yes — for the first time, you can earn more commission by reducing the price your buyer pays!
Volume bonus
In addition to base and buyer benefit commissions, Ownify will pay you volume bonuses that vary over time and will be communicated to you as they are rolled out.
Plus referral programs
Two ways to earn beyond your own deals.
Separately from our buyer's agent compensation, we also offer two referral bonus programs.
Customer Referral fee
Whenever you — as a listing agent or buying agent — refer an unrepresented buyer directly to Ownify, Ownify will pay you a referral fee of 30% of the base commission outlined above.
Agent Referral bonus
In addition to commissions and bonuses, you can also earn a referral bonus equal to 20% of the total commissions earned by any agent you refer to Ownify.
